6 days Mekong Delta Bike Tour Ho Chi Minh to Phu Quoc Island
Day1: Sai Gon to Cu Chi Tunnels, 70km distance & 35km cycling ( B/L)
Our Guides & driver will pick up at your hotel early in the morning to move outside of Ho Chi Minh City. The rider will start to explore the countryside area. The first 25 km of cycling will take you along narrow country lane-ways, it’s time to fulfilled your experience about the rural life of the locals. You arrive in Cu Chi tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. We will have break for lunch. After that, continue to cycle to vegetable village on your two wheel where full convergence of the culinary culture of the Cu Chi people in particular and the food culture of Vietnam. Return to Sai Gon at about 4pm. you’ll stay overnight in Sai Gon.
Day2: Sai Gon to Ben Tre, 110km distance &70 km cycling (B/L/D)
Leaving Saigon early in the morning to Go Cong Town. Stop on the way for breakfast, we arrive to rural District of Tien Giang Province. The riders begins in countryside of Tan An Town where you will cycle on small country roads through fruit orchards in the rural areas by the Vam Co Tay River then continue to ride on paths along to the River then take a public Tan Tru ferry to Tan Hung village where we will stop for lunch in local restaurant. After lunch, cycling along river to Rice Market then your driver and transport are waiting and have a short transfer to Ben Tre in the late afternoon. We stay overnight in Ben Tre.
Day 3: Ben Tre to Can Tho, 106km distance & 70 km cycling (B/L)
After breakfast, we have a short transfer to outside of Ben Tre to Thach Ngai village where we start to cycle on cement roads. The first section you bike along Co Chien River to Binh Thuan village and then take a public Dinh Khao ferry head to Vinh Long. After that, continue to cycle along narrow countryside road and you will see colorful riverside life while pedaling past picturesque delta homes, and clack across innumerable wooden bridges . You have short break for lunch. After lunch, you will cycling along riverside to Can Tho City. We will overnight in Can Tho City which is the capital of the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.
Day 4: Can Tho to Chau Doc, 127km distance & 70km cycling (B/L/D)
We will wake-up early in the morning to take the boat trip to Cai Rang Floating Market to sightseeing. You will have the opportunity to watch the largest and busiest floating market in the Mekong Delta (Cai Rang floating market is one of the most famous in the Mekong Delta in Vietnam which specializes in fruit trade, agricultural products in the region. Every morning, hundreds of boats come here, side by side. Due to the needs of merchants in the Cai Rang floating market, there are not only boats for agricultural products, but many boats that serve: Noodles soup, coffee…services are thoughtful, quick even on waters sometimes agitated). We have a breakfast on the floating market. After sightseeing, we will short transfer from Can Tho City to Sa Dec City about an hour and then the rider will start to cycle outside of Se Dec City to Tan Chau village about 88km. Today you bike along Tien River. On the way, you will explore on footpaths through lush green rice fields, sweet potato plantations and a huge network of small man-made canals. Arriving Cao Lanh for lucnh. After lunch, you continue to bike with exploring beautiful countryside roads through mango orchards, small villages and local market and then continue to explore the untouched places all the way to Chau Doc border town where we stay overnight in this town.
Day 5: Chau Doc to Ha Tien, 87 km distance & 50km cycling (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your hotel, and you will cycle from your hotel to Tra Su Cajuput forest around 20km, it is located in Van Giao Commune, Tinh Bien district, An Giang province, about over 20km from Chau Doc Town and 10km from the Cambodia border. It is a beautiful immense wetland, emerald-green duckweed carpet and dense cajuput forest. You will exploring Tra Su Cajuput Forest and have to take a boat. It must be an awesome experience when sitting on the boat and go through enormous green duckweed covering the water’s surface with tall and huge cajuput standing densely. You can also observe thousands white storks and other colorful species of birds flying above or perching on the branches. The bird’s twitters are the only sound in the forest. The further you go, the more peaceful you can feel. It seems like you are lost in a green paradise with cool and fresh atmosphere. In that charming green, amazing yellow field of sesbania sesba flowers and pink ponds of lotus appear as picturesque scenery. Everything is incredibly nature. After take a tour to explore the forest, you can come back to go to the watchtower to see the whole vast and boundless view of Tra Su Forest and watch closely the daily activities of birds and storks through fieldglasses. You will spent two or three hours to visiting “Green paradise” of Tra Su Cajuput Forest then you have lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, continue cycle to Ba Chuc Town about 30km before a transfer to Ha Tien in late afternoon. you will stay overnight in HaTien Town.

Day 6: Ha Tien to Phu Quoc Island 2 hours ferry & No cycling today, 70km distance (B)
Breakfast early in the morning and check out hotel. 8:00 am we will transfer you to the pier for ferry to Phu Quoc island. End services. Enjoy your beach paradise in Phu Quoc island.
