🍴 Cooking Challenge Day at Tấm Cuisine! 🇻🇳
This morning, we took a wonderful group of students on one of our favorite journeys - from market to table, the true Vietnamese way.
We started at the wet market, wandering through the stalls together. The students' faces lit up as they picked out fresh herbs, chose the best ingredients, and learned how to shop in a wet market. There's something special about starting a meal this way - it connects you to the food in a way a supermarket never could.
Back at our villa, the real fun began! Four traditional dishes, four teams, and SO much laughter in our kitchen. Fresh spring rolls that actually stayed together (mostly 😄), perfectly seasoned meatballs, lemongrass skewers sizzling on the grill, and those aromatic betel leaf parcels that filled the whole villa with the most incredible smell.
The competition was fierce, but honestly? Everyone won today. Because at the end, we all sat down together to enjoy what we'd created - that's the heart of Vietnamese dining.
