How to survive Southeast Asia' scorching summer 🔥

If you’re exploring the streets of Hanoi, Bangkok, or other major cities in Southeast Asia during summer, you might feel like you’ve stepped into a giant hairdryer.

The heat can be really intense at first. But with a few smart travel "hacks", traveling during this season can still be very enjoyable.

🔥 Why does it feel so hot?
Beyond the temperature itself, large cities experience what’s called the Urban Heat Island effect. Concrete, traffic, and dense buildings absorb and trap heat, making the streets often feel several degrees hotter than the weather forecast.

Plus, while we do get dry heatwaves, the signature weather is high humidity. Since sweat evaporates more slowly, the heat can feel heavier and more exhausting than expected.
