Simple answer.

I own a marketing company. 25 years in the industry. I help businesses build their brand and rank on Google.

Started it in 2020 after my company on Shark Tank tanked due to Covid. Run it remotely. It pays the bills and then some.

My rental agent just sent me this one… $135/month for a room in Da Nang, Vietnam. 😂

No kitchen. Mini fridge. Small window. Third floor.

BUT…

You're only about 3 blocks from the beach and right near one of the main tourist areas, so restaurants, coffee shops, bars, convenience stores and pretty much everything else are within walking distance.

It's definitely not for everyone.

But if you're looking for a simple place to sleep in Da Nang without spending much on rent, this is pretty damn interesting.

And it's September 8, 2026…

Let's see if this thing even makes it 24 hours. 😂

This is Bread Mama, one of my regular breakfast spots in Da Nang.

Family-owned, open 7:30 am till around 5pm or so give or take, and you’ll see locals coming in all day.

I usually get a fried egg bánh mì and cà phê sữa đá for basically nothing compared to what breakfast used to cost me back home.

But honestly, the price isn’t even the best part. I love places like this because you get to see the everyday side of Vietnam. Mama making the bánh mì, the family working together, everything made fresh.

No fancy production. Just my actual morning.

Da Nang beach. Monday night. 9:30pm.

The hotels light up. The city comes alive. The ocean is right there.

Even the locals are out and happy to see you.

I live two blocks from this.

with .danang Low season in Da Nang is coming and if you are thinking about moving here this is the time.

Tourists leave. Rents drop. Landlords negotiate.

My real estate agent here says prices can come down 20 percent depending on the area and the landlord.

If you have been waiting for the right time to make the move this is it.

The best time to visit Da Nang isn't necessarily the best time to live here.

For me, November through February is the sweet spot…maybe into March

Lower rents, Cooler temperatures, less brutal heat, and honestly just a much more comfortable pace for everyday life.

The catch? The weather can be unpredictable, and you could get a week of rain.

That's why I'd look at it differently if you're coming for two weeks versus actually living here.

I gained 22 Lbs living in Da Nang Vietnam 🇻🇳

22 lbs gained since moving to Vietnam.

And I am genuinely kind of excited about it.

I have never had to lose weight in my entire life. Always been thin. Now at 53 I finally get to go on a journey I have never been on before.

Losing weight. Getting back in shape. In Da Nang Vietnam.

Never done it. Looking forward to figuring it out.

Cheers Bar in An Hai Da Nang just got a new look.

Out with the picnic tables. In with the sofas.

This was the first bar I walked into the day I landed in Vietnam.

Completely random. Did not know anyone. Did not know the city.

Just walked in.

16 months later it is still my local.
