Da Nang's International Airport is effective and less stressful than Vietnam's two major airports. The train south to Ho Chi Minh takes 17-20 hours. Nice to split up, for instance in Nha Trang.

Try searching from the airport to the city centre. For instance from London Gatwick (LGW) to London. Or vice versa. You may find direct transport options to the city that you didn't know about.

It currently has data for Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, lreland, Netherlands. More will be added.

Sort schedules by departure time by clicking a drop-down to the right in the sort selection bar, as shown in an attached screenshot.

Switch map views between departure and destination stations with buttons under the map.

Our example screenshots are from Oslo Gardermoen airport (OSL) to Oslo city.

We have created a separate page for the flights meetup feature.

Use it for finding convenient flights for meeting others in a possibly undecided city.

On the new page you can specify the number of travelers from each departure city.

You can also allow the meeting to be in one of the cities specified as a departure city.

Here's Queenstown, New Zealand. It's a resort town with spectacular scenery in South Island. From Australia there are direct flights from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast.

When there are no non-stop flights to your destination, PanFlights automatically shows you non-stop alternatives via cities reachable with overland transport within reasonable time.

This saves CO2 and can be faster than flying indirect.

Med PanFlights kan du finne reiseruter andre reiseplanleggere ikke viser. Det innebærer at du ofte kan finne rimeligere turer med lavere klimautslipp dersom du bruker vår søkemotor.

Eksempler:

Oslo - Barcelona på kort varsel i juni, en vei. Billigste rute: Fly fra Oslo til Montpellier, deretter 4-5 timer med buss til Barcelona. Prisene endrer seg, den funnet var på under 700 kroner.

Oslo - Bologna, en vei: Det går ikke direktefly. Ruten med lavest utslipp nå på fredag 17. juni: Fly Oslo - München, deretter direktetog i 6-7 timer. Billigste rute funnet: Fly Oslo - Pisa, så buss 3 timer til Bologna. Prisen lå på under 1400 kroner.

PanFlights-gründer Øyvind T. Aasheim skriver på LinkedIn hvordan man med vår søkemotor enkelt kan finne reiseruter fra Oslo til Glasgow som går mye raskere og medfører et lavere klimaavtrykk enn om man tar toget hele veien rundt via København, Amsterdam og London.

Det var jo i Glasgow klimatoppmøtet var, så denne reiseruten er spesielt aktuell.

Også andre reiser kan gjøres mer klimavennlige og samtidig effektive med metoden som beskrives.

En av utfordringene med det grønne skiftet er at det er kostbart å gjøre nye løsninger kjent for forbrukerne. Dermed utsettes fremgangen den teknologiske utviklingen kan gi.
