We are grateful for our new 5.0-star Review: "Our family vacation aboard The Annex was absolutely spectacular! When thinking about planning a vacation for our family of six, I had heard from friends that a chartered catamaran trip in the BVIs was something to consider. Little did I know what an incredible experience it would be aboard The Annex! From start to finish and everywhere in between, Captain Devon and his top flight crew—Jess and Chanel—ran a first class operation. They were incredibly prompt, friendly and professional (and with a good sense of humor to boot) from the moment we stepped on the boat. Captain Devon is an accomplished sailor/boater and the consummate professional. We felt safe and well taken care of at all times. The week-long itinerary was planned to perfection, with stops at all of the places we had hoped to see and even some smaller nooks and crannies that were lesser known to us. It was the perfect mix of sailing and motoring, land and sea, rest and play. Every last detail was planned out with incredible thought and care. The crew cut no corners and went above and beyond the call of duty at every moment. And the meals that Chef Jess put out daily were out of this world!… and perfectly complimented by Chanel’s exquisite service and attention! It was truly the family vacation of a lifetime. I’m just so sad that it’s over…our whole family is. We look forward to climbing back aboard The Annex at some point soon. We will definitely be back!"

We are grateful for our new 5.0-star Review: "Oh my God, what an awesome experience this was. We had a wonderful time and enjoy the trip to the fullest. Captain Devon is great. He makes you feel safe and informed at all time. He gave twice a day updates with what we did and what was coming next. He is very knowledgeable about the boat and the island. He has excellent people skills and he is funny. Chef Jess was awesome. All the meals we had were delicious and we felt we were fine dinning on every meal. Chanel is the young lady taking care of us during the entire day. This young lady was so sweet and she gave us the best customer experience. Her cocktails were very good. In summary this was an awesome experience and I strongly recommend."

Our group of 9 Marquette University friends and spouses finally pulled off our bucket list trip, after years of planning. It all came together and will be remembered for ever. The Captain and Crew were very engaging and the food and drinks were AMAZING! Captain Devon was fun and always safety conscious. He made the cruise an extremely memorable and fun experience. Jess is one of the most talented chef’s I have experienced. She brought her family recipes to life and shared her masterpiece with our group, always out doing the previous meal. Lastly Lindy is always at the ready to mix a drink, clean your stateroom or make you laugh."

Our Story

The Annex was delivered to the current owner at the end of 2013. She is a Robertson and Cane Moorings 5800, built in Cape Town, South Africa. In the summer of 2016 the owner took her out of the Moorings fleet and made her a private charter boat. She received a complete refit over the summer and started operating as an independent charter boat in the fall of 2016. She completed a 2nd refit in early 2020.

The Annex is one of the few charter boats in the Virgin Islands offering sailing charters for up-to 10 guests in air-conditioned cabins, she has a crew of 3 and is ready to take you on your next adventure.
