Reliable systems don’t happen by accident.

For us, every installation starts with understanding how the owner uses their yacht, identifying operational priorities, and then selecting equipment that delivers long-term reliability, simplicity and ease of use.

This Leopard 47 project in the USVI was a great example of that approach. The Rainman Fully Automated system provided the functionality, automation and reliability the owner was looking for, while maintaining straightforward operation for crew and guests alike.

Soluna Yacht Group is recruiting an experienced Captain and Chef team for a privately owned Bali 5.4 operating in the Caribbean.

This is an excellent opportunity for a crew currently working within a larger management programme who are looking to take on greater responsibility and become an integral part of building and operating a successful charter business.

The vessel will begin operations in Grenada in July 2026 before relocating to the BVI for the Winter 2026/27 charter season.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: July 2026
• Private Yacht
• Minimum 2-Year Commitment Preferred
• Salary DOE
• BVI Work Permits Arranged
• Opportunity to help shape charter operations and guest experience from the ground up

Captain Requirements:

• USCG 100 Ton, IYT 100 Ton, YM Offshore 200 Ton, or equivalent
• Proven charter experience
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Caribbean cruising experience preferred

• STCW
• B1/B2 Visa
• USVI Charter Experience
• BVI Charter Experience

Welcome to Soluna Yacht Group.

Based in the USVI, we provide professional yacht technical services, diagnostics, repairs, installations, and equipment procurement for private and charter vessels throughout the Caribbean.

Our focus is simple:
Reliable systems. Clean installations. Proper technical support.

From generators, electrical systems and lithium upgrades to watermakers, air conditioning, troubleshooting and project coordination, we work closely with owners, captains and charter management companies to keep vessels operating safely and efficiently.

We also support clients with marine parts and equipment procurement, helping source quality products and coordinate logistics throughout the US and Caribbean.
