Why does custom SeaDek® matter?

Because even boats of the same model aren’t always exactly the same.

Hardware, options, layouts, hatches, hinges and fittings can all vary — and every curve, corner and cutout has to fit your boat.

That’s why we template and digitize each boat before the SeaDek® is fabricated. Close enough isn’t custom.

The answer: all of them.

That’s one of the things we love most about custom SeaDek®. There isn’t one “SeaDek look.”

SeaDek® can be about more than choosing a color and pattern. It can make a boat feel personal.

For Apex Marine Charters VI, their custom SeaDek incorporates their branding along with “…little is much…” — a phrase they chose because it has personal meaning to them.

It’s a great example of how the details can make a design uniquely yours.

Three colors. One very custom result.

Guilderoy wanted something different for his boat — the dramatic effect of three colors in a custom 9mm SeaDek® design.

Storm Gray, Island Green and Bimini Blue come together in this hexagon pattern, with personal details incorporated into the design.

And this is only the preview. It hasn’t even been installed yet.

We can’t wait to show you the finished project.

Think SeaDek® has to look like traditional teak? Think again.

We didn’t install this particular project, but we had permission to share it — and it was simply too creative not to!

The bright blue is an attention-getter on its own, but take a closer look at that octopus incorporated right into the design around the live well. This is what we love about genuine SeaDek®: you aren’t limited to teak lines or the patterns you see on every other boat.

Fresh SeaDek® for Maverick!

When you already love the look of your boat, sometimes there’s no reason to change it.

The existing SeaDek® on Renaissance Marine ’s Maverick had reached the end of its life, but the colors, teak pattern and overall design were exactly what they wanted. Our job was to recreate that look with brand-new decking.

The replacement features the same Terra over Dark Gray, classic teak pattern and custom details, including the Maverick logo engraved into the aft hatch. Everything was digitally templated and precision fit around the boat’s hatches, hinges and hardware.

A big thank you to Renaissance Marine for trusting Latitude 18 Yachts and partnering with us on this project. We’re proud to work with another local St. Thomas marine business and appreciate the opportunity!
