All good things must come to an end. SY Respite at Sea has had a fantastic charter life from glittering bays in the Mediterranean, awe inspiring vistas in the windwards Isles and the neverending fun of her home cruising ground in the British Virgin Islands.

From all crews past and present we'd like to say a massive thank you to the brokers and guests Respite at Sea had the pleasure of working with and hosting. Without you there would be no Respite at Sea so from the bottom of our hearts and hulls, thank you.

We wish the new owners every happiness and success in the Cayman Islands and to the former SY Respite at Sea and now newly renamed SY Bamboozled - Fair winds and following seas.

Todays the day we say goodbye to our girl RAS and this chapter of our life as yacht crew. We wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our guests, brokers, and friends who have made these past 3 years so memorable. We are leaving today feeling enriched with experiences and new friendships that will last a lifetime.

Captain Sam and Chef Zina Sam and Zina Yacht Crew

They have been working in the industry for over 9 years, with experience in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Sam and Zina have spent the last 3 years working on a beautiful classic yacht in the Med and are now ready to return to the Caribbean. With Chef Zina’s Ashburton training and apprenticeship alongside Michelin stared chef Sébastian Broda in France, you’ll be sure to experience some incredible culinary delights during your time onboard. Sam’s a qualified PADI dive instructor and has a wealth of experience in luxury charters, together they bring a winning combination of skills and knowledge to the Caribbean and RAS and we are very excited to be handing over the helm to them…
