The End of Season Island WindDown
After a wonderful, restful time enjoying the BVI’s little secrets, the family pulled into Soper’s Hole Marina, where the unmistakable energy of the season’s close was already in the air. Rean and Marie had arrived with their family, eager to enjoy one last stretch aboard their beloved Top Secret. Longtime friends of the VOYAGE family, their presence brought a familiar sense of warmth and camaraderie.
Time with Rean and Marie was always uplifting—full of stories, laughter, and connection. These moments reminded everyone that VOYAGE has never just been about boats or business. It has always been about people, shared experiences, and meaningful relationships forged under Caribbean skies.
As the season ended, Top Secret was hauled out with the rest of the fleet and securely stored under Sharn’s watchful eye. His expert oversight at the boatyard ensured every vessel was secured for hurricane season.
August and September remained among the most intense and essential months for Sharn and Becky. Each yacht required a full inspection, lifting, and proper storage. Rane was also a key player, with his leadership in logistics, vessel care, and preparation proving invaluable as the team managed this complex but well-practiced routine.
As charter operations paused, the VOYAGE marina took on a quieter, reflective tone. The lively buzz of incoming guests gave way to the steady hum of boat lifts and maintenance crews. The docks, once full of laughter and clinking glasses, stood peacefully still.
The change was felt across the island. Restaurants, bars, and gathering spots gradually shuttered their doors for a brief rest. The entire island seemed to breathe out, slipping into a slower rhythm before the vibrant return of the next season.
By early October, momentum would return—boats coming back to the docks, businesses reopening, and new guests arriving with fresh excitement. For now, the August and September lull was a necessary pause: a time of care, restoration, and quiet anticipation—a deeply rooted part of the VOYAGE rhythm, and a cherished breath between seasons.
