Due to ongoing shipping supply issues from Puerto Rico, Manjack Creamery will unfortunately be closed on Tuesday, June 2. 🍦😢
Many local businesses have been affected by the inability of Caribbean Transport and Watersprit vessels to dock in Puerto Rico since early May.
While I am not fully versed in the complexities of the situation, I can say that it is having a direct impact on our ability to operate effectively. 🍦
Businesses that require cold storage are currently relying heavily on King Ocean (Ramasco). I am not placing blame on King Ocean, as they are doing their best to accommodate everyone during these challenging circumstances.🫣
However, when deliveries from Puerto Rico takes an entire week to arrive, it creates serious operational challenges. Without essential supplies, I cannot produce ice cream, adequately support my staff, or efficiently serve our customers and vendors. 🍨
I sincerely hope that those in positions of authority can assist in resolving this situation, as it is directly affecting food supplies and many other essential goods throughout our community.
As a small island nation, we remain heavily dependent on imported products, making reliable transportation and shipping services critical to our daily operations.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Manjack Creamery. We look forward to serving you again as soon as possible.
Baring any unfosee circumstances we will reopen on Wednesday June 3rd at 12 noon.
Thank you
