Hello from Bosnia and Herzegovina! 🇧🇦 Today, we travel by train in Republika Srpska from Doboj to Banja Luka on Željeznice Republike Srpske (ŽRS), exploring the often-forgotten railways of former Yugoslavia.

This journey highlights landscapes, local stations, and the unique charm of Balkan train travel in Bosnia and Herzegovina, onboard one of the last remaining trains where smoking is still allowed.

Hello from Nizhny Novgorod! 🇷🇺 Today we're visiting one of the largest urban centers in Russia and home to the country's 4th largest metro system. Located at the confluence of the Oka and Volga rivers, it features more than 600 architectural monuments, the most famous being the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The area is also home to dozens of museums, and one branch of the Trans-Siberian Railway passes through here.

Hello from Sweden! 🇸🇪 Today, we ride first class on a 40-year-old Swedish train from Stockholm to Oslo on a 6-hour cross-border journey between Sweden and Norway, testing comfort, seats, comparing the other travel classes, and since we’re traveling first class, we also visit the SJ lounge.
