Chasing northern lights in Finland

✨ No photo can ever do it justice.
Seeing the northern lights feels like watching the sky breathe in color.

And we were lucky enough to witness this phenomenon in Lake Saimaa, far south from where it’s usually seen.
Green and violet waves dancing over frozen lakes —a surreal moment that left us in awe.

The aurora season runs from September to March, and although apps help track them, nothing compares to being there, in the stillness, with your eyes on the sky.

I’m dreaming up a future journey to experience this again —and take a few of you with me.
