Did you know Chicago has roads beneath its roads?

This photo was taken on Lower Wacker Drive, an underground roadway beneath downtown Chicago that connects loading docks, buildings, and busy city routes.

According to Inontime driver, Mark Van Drunen, one missed exit can turn into an hour-long trip to get back to the dock.

It's a side of trucking most people never see, but it's all part of keeping freight moving.

As Inontime grows, we want to keep communication personal.

One way we do that is through our monthly “Chewin’ the Fat” meals, where team members from across our West Michigan locations can connect, share ideas, and talk about how we can keep improving together as an employee-owned company.

This month’s meal featured a pig roast prepared by members of our team.

The food changes each month, but the purpose stays the same: creating space for conversation, connection, and ideas that help move the company forward.
