Just Completed: Complete Rebuild of a Bucyrus-Erie 20W
Our team recently completed a rebuild of a Bucyrus-Erie 20W drilling rig. The project involved disassembling the machine down to the bare frame, performing all necessary repairs and component replacements, and preparing the unit for refinishing. The machine was then repainted in its classic red and bronze colors.
Additional upgrades included the installation of a new Perkins diesel engine, new factory hydraulic jacks, and an engine-driven hydraulic pump system to operate the jacks. The rebuilt rig was then mounted onto a 2013 International truck chassis, and new wire line was spooled onto the drums to complete the project.
