This is a hand colored map from a Walker's Atlas. It is a Railroad map and the map itself was a product of George Cram. Cram published the same map, but with only the lines of the railroads colored, the base map was black and white. Walker took those maps and added hand colored lithography making these maps some of the most beautiful maps printed in the late 1800's. Very rare and we have them reasonably priced in our store. Professionals, save on magazine subscriptions. Hang one of these in your waiting room and the folks will spend all the time studying the map.

This is a scan of Swanson County, Oklahoma. This county only lasted one year, 1911. Very few map makers caught the change. This scan is from a Rand McNally Commercial Atlas, that replaced the Rand McNally Business Atlas this year. These are much more scarce than old Indian Territory Railroad maps. We have a couple left in our store. Great to display and drive Okie's nuts trying to figure this puzzle out.
