Happy 2026-2027 school year everyone!

The schedule is basically the same as last year. There will be separate Elementary and Middle/High School buses. Any Middle/High School students that live further out than 6 mile will board with the Elementary students, and ride until 8:30.

--Students MUST be at their stop and ready to board in morning. The bus will not stop if they are not visibly at their stop—

Afternoon schedule:
-Elementary School departs at 2:35 from the school, drops the last student off at 6 Mile at approximately 3:10, and returns to pick up the Middle/High School students.
-Any Elementary students that live further than 6 mile will remain on the bus until after Middle/High students have been picked up
-Middle/High departs the school at 3:35. The last student is dropped off at approximately 4:30 at 13 Mile.

Parents and Students:

Starting tomorrow Tuesday Nov 18th, we will be switching back to the old route for Middle/High School drop-off. EES will remain as it currently is.

Apologies for the change but we need to accommodate new riders! (Also the older kids absolutely hated the change 😂)

—MONDAY 8/13—

We will be changing the drop-off route for all schools.

Students between City Park and 5 Mile will be dropped off on the way back into town, rather than on the way out. This will change their expected drop off times by approximately 15 minutes. Students at 5 mile will be dropped off approximately 10 minutes earlier. Airport Loop will be unaffected.

This change is in the interest of student safety, with crossing the highway no longer being necessary.

School starts in 3 weeks, and we are very excited to see everyone!

We are trying to streamline the bus signup this year. Students who ride periodically home from school or riders who want to bring friends will not be required to have a bus form. However if your student will be a regular, we need a bus form filled out.

There are far too many moving parts for 1 driver to keep organized on the fly, so that's why it's all written down!

If you'd like to get a jump on the process, please legibly fill out this form and email it to [email protected], or you can also do it during registration with the school

School starts tomorrow, and we wanted to refresh everyone on how to properly interact with the bus in traffic.

The lights are JUST like traffic signals:

When the yellow lights come on, if you can stop safely before going through them, please do so. If you are far away from the bus, please stop, as the red lights are coming next.

When the red lights come on and the stop sign swings out, STOP. Only when the red lights are off and the sign closes is it safe to pass the bus in any way.

If the hazard lights are on (these are lower on the bus, in the same housing as the turn-signals) please pass the bus with caution.

If the bus is parked or moving in traffic, and none of these signals are on, we are just another vehicle.

The first day of school is Thursday the 22nd!

We are building the schedule and will be emailing parents by Tuesday.

Parents, if your child is planning on riding the bus, please ensure you fill out a School Bus Form with the District Office, even if they have ridden before. Students will not be permitted to ride until a form is on file.

New riders: our closest pickup is Panhandle Trailer Court out the road, and the Airport Loop.
