Harvest 2025 is starting to get close. Anytime lettering and numbers go on the machinery, we know our focus is strictly on harvest starting. The off season has been enjoyed, but the chaotic lifestyle will be readily accepted once again.

The sun has finally set on our winter wheat harvest for the 2024 season. We have now moved onto field peas and lentils. Hopefully we will be starting on barley, spring wheat and durum in the next couple weeks.

The season will last through November and we will be covering acres in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. Pratt, Kansas — As we have moved farther north in Kansas, wheat yields have dropped a little. The first couple of fields have averaged only about 20 to 25 bushels per acre, but we started a field yesterday that averaged closer to 50 bushels per acre. I’m hoping yields will continue to stay up. A...
