GEORGIA 2016-2017 HUNTING SEASON

President: (PIC) Billy Daniell 706-957-0694
Treasurer: Billy Daniell 706-957-0694
Vice President: (PIC) Donnie Kinney 770-355-7408

The Southern Dawgs Sportsman’s Club (hereinafter known as “SDSC”) was organized in January 2015 as a non-profit organization. This club contains 398 acres at 1375 Jeff Hendrix Road and 277 acres at Sara Marshal Road in Woodland, Georgia (Talbot County). We believe in the right, as American Citizens, to keep and bear arms as stated in The Constitution of the United States of America. Our purpose of organization is to preserve wildlife, nature, and our right to enjoy outdoor sports within the boundaries of our own community. As citizens, we are dedicated to obeying and upholding all federal and state laws. We therefore adopt, by majority vote, the following by-laws. Any member who breaks or violates these Rules and Regulations will be subject to loss of membership with no refund or reimbursement. This land is leased from Property Manager Mr. Ed Garason and cannot be sub-leased.
Rules and Regulations

• All Georgia State Fish and Game Laws must be followed as stated in state regulations.
• All camping and parking will be in designated areas. ATVs may be used on SDS Club properties.
• POVs (privately owned vehicles) are not allowed in food plots. Use caution and drive around food plots while using ATVs (all-terrain vehicles). Foot traffic only in food plots.
• Electricity bill will be divided by all users and paid monthly in advance. Club financial report due in December each year by Treasurer.
• Members will be assigned a number for marking their stand and for referencing hunting area on Map Board for daily use. Members must mark Map Board Sign-in before hunting. Members are responsible for marking their guests on Map Board as well. Guests will be marked on Map Board by member’s number-G. For example, member number 5 will mark guest’s area on map by 5-G.
• We encourage the use of portable stands. However, anyone wanting to use or hunt another member’s stand must get permission from that member prior to use. Each member will receive a Primary Stand Area. Other members’ Primary Stand Areas are off limits unless you have contacted that hunter first and have been given permission.
• No target practice on SDS Club properties. There is a fi****ms shooting range at Big Lazer Creek WMA about 10 miles from camp. Discharging of weapons in camp is not allowed and is reason for dismissal.
No Firearms/Side arms around camp fire-pit area.
• The land lease for our club is due on later than July 1st 2016. The annual dues will be $600 for the 2016/17 season. Therefore we must collect $300 from each member no later than March 1st 2016 and the balance no later than June 1st 2016 (300). Members may bring one guest each day but NOT during the week of Opening Deer Season. The guest FEE is $25 per weekend (2 day hunt), paid in advance to PIC, with signed liability waiver. There is no guest fee for immediate family members such as spouse or child under age 18; however, a signed Release of Liability and Waiver must still be turned into PIC in advance for family members as guest.
• Members are responsible for their guest at all times. Ensure that your guest follows said Rules and Regulations. Every guest must sign and turn in to PIC the Liability Release and Waiver before camping, hunting, or using SDS Club properties in any way.
• Members will be held to 22 people for 2016-2017 Hunting season. Breaking of laws or SDS Club Rules and Regulations will place member in jeopardy of losing membership or paying restitution as determined by a Judicial Committee.
• All scouting will be limited to preseason and only during daylight hours.
• No running deer with dogs. Clean up after your dog in camp. ($15 FINE) Keep your pets under control. No dog walking in hunting zone.
• Work Days for food plots, cleanup, and other miscellaneous needs will be announced. If you are unable to attend Work Days, you are still responsible for completing your assigned duty in a timely manner. A FEE of $50 will be due before hunting for each Work Day’s assigned duty that was not completed.
• Members must report/log every deer kill. Deer limits are 4 does, 2 bucks. Log will be at camp.
• All trash must be removed when leaving camp. Pack in, pack out. ($15 FINE)
• No burning plastic, Styrofoam, glass, or cans in fire pit. ($15 FINE)
• Bring your own chair to fire pit and remove when you depart SDSC.
• All $15 FINES increase to $25 after first offense. Continued offenses put SDS Club Membership at risk.
All assessed fines and fees must be paid to PIC before usage of SDS Club may resume.
• All members must sign these Rules and Regulations. Any member who does not sign and return these Rules and Regulations as well as the Release of Liability and Waiver shall not hunt on SDS Club properties. SDS Club does not have insurance and will not be held liable for any accident or incident.
