Let’s get Chase Gardner Racing back on the track!! We’re so proud to support this team!
This is never the kind of post you wanted to make, but in an effort to save our race season, we need your help.
This past Saturday was full of mixed emotions, from passing for the lead and leading my first laps in a late model to the way it ended was a rollercoaster of emotions. When we got the car back in the shop, we discovered the hole we found in the radiator after the race was much bigger than we originally thought. While my temperature gauge never really moved over the last 3 laps, after a trip through the rocks in turn 2, a leak-down test on the motor showed that we cooked it the last 3 laps. This was not something we planned for. So, with the biggest races of the year right around the corner, we are doing everything we can to generate enough funds to get a replacement motor.
While our finishes may not have always shown it, I am so proud of the speed we have brought to the track this year.I can’t thank my parents enough for everything they have put into this, Quality Towing for all their continued support, and the countless other people for their support, advice, and help. While I hope this isn’t the end, I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything. All the long nights in the shop working hard with my dad trying to make the car faster are some of my favorite memories and I will cherish them for a lifetime.
The Decklid Club is something I came up with to help generate some funds to put towards a new engine. Along with the Decklid Club, we still have space on the hood and quarter panels to advertise any businesses that might want to sponsor us for the rest of the season.
Any support is greatly appreciated and we hope to be back at the track sometime soon!
