2024... Is everyone ready for an awesome boating season?!? I know everyone here at Tyme N' Tyde are! I am sure a lot of you are thinking that we haven't posted on our page in quite sometime, and you would be right. Years ago we had an awesome guy that ran the marina and this page. Well he decided to retire, lol. It is about time someone else take the reins on this page and I figured I would give it a shot. We would like to thank all of our clients for the great season we had last year and can't wait to see you all out on the river again this season! Here is to hoping we have some amazing weather for everyone to enjoy on their boats this season! -Greg

43 years and 10 months ago, Bob and Jeff Tyrrell took a chance on a long haired, skinny, 19 year old kid from Manassas. They gave him a job that would ultimately transform into a career. That career was the best opportunity anyone could ask for. I bet they never thought they were stuck with me ! Every day of my adult life, I woke up with the excitement of being able to go to work. Turning into the driveway of the marina, seeing and smelling the river was what I lived for. The opportunity to see the happiness in the faces of our customers as they showed up to enjoy the river and their boats was what drove me. US Cabinet members , Congressmen, Actors, Recording Stars, and Super Bowl winners have all told me they wanted my job... nope ! ......that's my job. I have given this job everything I have. I left nothing on the table and I hope that those efforts have contributed to and amplified the enjoyment of our clients. It is now time to go. I am moving on to the next chapter. My wife and I have built a home near the coast of South Carolina just outside of Charleston along the Kiawah River . Like here, the views are spectacular and everyday I will be reminded of my days on the Potomac . To the many employees, , the vendors that helped make it work, and the thousands of customers over 44 years , I will never, ever be able to thank each one of you enough. There is an open invitation for you all to come find me if you are ever near Charleston. Nothing would make me happier than for you to join me for some golf , some beach , some drinks, or we could just try to eat our way through Charleston!.. I am sincere.. Once again, to Jeff and "T", thanks for taking that chance with me on February 18th 1977 . Your leadership , your friendship and your generosity will forever be cherished ....... love to you all ...Keith

Undoubtedly these are unprecedented and extremely difficult times for people everywhere, and we at Tyme n' Tyde hope first and foremost that you are healthy and safe. As global and U.S. health agencies monitor and report on the Coronavirus , we are following developments to assess how the virus may impact our customers, our business and the ability of boaters to participate in on-water activities. Like you ,we are hoping for better and safer times soon. Rest assured that the health and welfare of our employees, our families and our customers are our highest priorities, and we are taking steps to protect people while continuing to provide service to our customers. AS OF TODAY, we remain open for business and are here to assist you. Boating is a social distancing-friendly activity for many. None of us can predict the changes we may experience in the near or distant future, so please follow the advice of health professionals and minimize the potential of Coronavirus transmission. We know you love your time boating, but more importantly we want you to be safe. Any changes to our policy and/or hours will be posted here on Facebook . Tonight the Prince William County Board of Supervisors unanimously agreed to do away with the proposed boat tax . It is business as usual thanks to the hard work and perseverance of a lot of individuals that went to bat for the boaters of PWC . Thanks also to the board members for expeditiously making time to hear us out. The timing was very critical to us for several reasons. We are so grateful for their decision and look forward to working with them in the future to further promote and develop the amazing asset we have in our back yard. The waterfront of the Potomac River is a treasure, and should be recognized as such.

2019.... here we go !! I know it's been a while since we had a post, but it seems like it would not stop raining long enough to engage a conversation about the activity we all share a passion for. BOATING !! the weather folks have confirmed what most of us had already figured out ... 2018 was wet ... real wet ... record wet . Let's move beyond that and look forward to this year being a much, much better season . I would like to thank our wonderful clients / fellow boaters for their support and well wishes during the last year of less than ideal conditions and a climate that was too wet to grow mold, much less boat ride. We needed your understanding and enthusiasm ... and you responded.. for that we are every grateful. One last piece of news ... Stan Dillard, our Sales Manager / Accounts Manager for over 40 years has retired . He is looking forward to spending time with his family , especially his beautiful grandchildren. His loyalty and service to Tyme n' Tyde Marina will always be remembered and appreciated. We will miss Stan .... S
