Fernald Station

Fernald Station The Fernald Station and Enginehouse were built by the Wolfeboro Railroad, and now preserved by the members of the Cotton Valley Rail-Trail Club.

Fernald Station is the official meeting place for the Cotton Valley Rail Trail Club. See the website for their meeting dates and times. Fernald Station also offers parking for others who wish to use the adjacent walk/bike path.

Cotton Valley Trail Committee, Inc: Special Thanks to Kathy Rankin, Bob Sterndale, Trish Duffy, Randy Zimmerman, Pat Mancuso, and Matthias Pauleck! This volunteer crew completed the upgrade of the Cotton Valley Rail Trail from Center St./Route 28 and River Street With 32 yards of stone dust! Thank you so much! We will be back next Thursday working from River Street to Crescent causeway. Volunteers always needed and welcomed!
