Some horses are just part of the team… and some become part of your foundation. Recently we lost one of those horses suddenly.
He wasn’t just a carriage horse—he was one of the backbone horses of our company. Majestic, powerful, and always ready to work, he took pride in his job in a way that’s hard to put into words. He loved to go out, ears forward, knowing he had a purpose.
But beyond the work, he was all personality. He checked every pocket for cookies like it was part of his official duties. If you had a hat, it wasn’t safe—he’d have it off your head in seconds. Zippers, jackets, anything he could play with… that was his kind of fun. He kept us all on our toes and laughing, even on the busiest days.
He was a force to be reckoned with—strong, smart, and full of life. The kind of horse you respected. The kind you never forgot. He had a way of teaching new drivers that made everything feel easy… maybe a little too easy sometimes. That was just who he was—kind enough to guide, clever enough to keep you learning.
There’s an emptiness here now that won’t be filled. Horses like him don’t come around often.
You will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always a part of this team. 🤍
