You know that anxiety kids feel the night before the first day of school? 😬📚

Well… here at the bus company, we have those **first-day jitters too!** 🚌

Our office staff spends long hours getting everything ready for that first morning. And when the office day is over, it doesn’t always stop there. The emails continue, routes get adjusted, drivers are updated, and we’re making sure everyone is prepared for all the moving parts that come with the first day.

We’re ready.💪🚌

While everyone is enjoying these last days of summer, we’re busy behind the scenes getting ready for another school year at North Suburban Transportation!

Our team is working hard on:
🚌 Building and finalizing bus routes
🧹 Cleaning buses from top to bottom
🔍 Inspecting and preparing our fleet
🛠️ Making sure everything is ready for the first day
📋 Getting all the details in place for a safe and successful school year

The buses may look quiet right now, but there is a LOT happening behind the scenes! We’re excited to welcome everyone back and get rolling for another school year. 💙

**☀️ Summer break for students doesn't mean summer break for us. 🚌**

If the buses aren't running daily routes, our team is hard at work getting ready for another safe and successful school year.

From washing and detailing every bus, to replacing tires, completing preventative maintenance, tackling repairs, and even keeping our property looking its best—there's always something happening at **North Suburban Transportation**.

Behind every first day of school is a summer full of preparation. Huge thank you to our incredible maintenance team, office staff, and everyone working behind the scenes to make it happen.

We made it through the school year without you, but not a day went by that we didn't feel your absence. There were tears, growing pains, challenges, and moments when we wished we could pick up the phone and hear your voice one more time.

Your birthday just passed, and it reminded us how much we miss you—not only as our boss, but as a man who genuinely cared about the people around him. No one could have been a better man, father, mentor, or boss. The kindness, integrity, and dedication you showed every day left a lasting mark on all of us.

The road hasn't been easy, but your legacy continues to guide us. We have done our best to carry forward the values you built this company on, and we hope we've made you proud.

Today we celebrate your life, honor your memory, and thank you for everything you gave to your family, your employees, and this company.

Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact.
Reading words like these reminds us that our drivers do so much more than transport students—they help start and end each child's day with care, patience, and a smile.

Henry, thank you for making a difference in the lives of the students you serve. The relationships our drivers build with their riders are truly special, and this note is proof that those efforts never go unnoticed.

Another June calendar filled with circles, scribbles, and one magical phrase… “Last Day.” 😅🚌☀️

Every date on this calendar feels like a little victory lap for drivers and transportation staff everywhere. We love the kids, but after early mornings, traffic, weather, route changes, and nonstop chaos… seeing those last days written in black marker just hits differently. 😂
