South Wood County Alexander Field Airport Ownership was transferred to the South Wood County Airport Commission in 1961. Official Site

KISW or Alexander Field: The airport was built for Nekoosa Edwards Paper Company subsidiary Tri-Cities Airways in October 1928, and named after its executive John Alexander.
