Same route. Same station. Same turn you've made hundreds of times. That's exactly when professionalism matters most.

Experience makes a driver more confident and capable, but it should never make the work automatic. Conditions change. Traffic changes. Equipment changes. People around the truck change.

The professional approach is treating the hundredth delivery with the same attention as the first. Take the extra look. Slow the process down when something doesn't feel right. Follow the procedure even when you know it by heart. Never let familiarity turn into complacency.

Ralston Johnson recently joined our Selma, NC fleet with years of experience under his belt, and he’s already making an impression. During his Initial Driver Certification, RTM Chris Barnes shared that Ralston did so well that he was even able to share a few things with his trainer along the way.

2.1 billion gallons of fuel doesn't move itself. It takes professional drivers behind the wheel. Dispatchers coordinating routes. Maintenance teams keeping equipment ready. Fleet leaders supporting operations. And hundreds of people making thousands of decisions every day to keep fuel moving safely and reliably.

Last year alone, SWTO drivers traveled approximately 25 million miles and delivered 2.1 billion gallons of fuel to the communities we serve. This year in 2026, we're tracking even more.

Another strong start in Selma! 👏 During Kenderick Wilkins’ Initial Driver Certification, RTM Chris Barnes shared that Kenderick “did very well” and followed SWTO’s policies and procedures to the letter.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Chattanooga Driver Tucker Fetzer has been selected as one of the 2026 National Private Truck Council National Driver All-Stars, sponsored by Motors and Centerline Drivers!

This prestigious national award recognizes private fleet drivers who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to safety, compliance and customer service, qualities Tucker exemplifies every day.

Tucker has been a professional CMV driver for 12 years, including six with SWTO, LLC, and throughout his entire driving career has never recorded a DOT crash or been convicted of a traffic violation.

But Tucker’s impact goes far beyond an outstanding safety record. He consistently goes above and beyond for our customers and his fellow drivers, takes tremendous pride in every delivery, and has recently begun helping train newly hired drivers, setting the example for the professionalism, character and commitment we strive to represent across SWTO.

Tucker was officially recognized for this achievement at the NPTC 2026 National Safety Conference in Orlando, Florida, alongside some of the very best professional drivers in the country.

When you're transporting fuel, fire prevention isn't something you think about only when something goes wrong. It's built into the work that happens long before an emergency ever occurs.

Equipment inspections. Proper PPE. Following loading and unloading procedures. Knowing your emergency response protocols. Staying alert to changing conditions. Understanding the product you're transporting and the equipment you're operating.

At SWTO, that preparation is reinforced through comprehensive training, monthly safety meetings, observation ride-alongs and regular refresher training.

During Fire Prevention Week, we're recognizing the professional drivers and teams who understand that prevention often comes down to doing the small things correctly, consistently and without shortcuts. Because in fuel transportation, preparation matters.

To our professional drivers who safely deliver mile after mile. To our support staff who keep our operations moving behind the scenes. And to the families who support our team through the early mornings, long days, late nights, and everything in between. Thank you for all you do, every day, every month, and every year.

At SWTO, LLC, our success has always been a team effort. It takes all of us working together, with safety, service, and dedication at the center of everything we do, to make SWTO one of the safest and most successful petroleum carriers on the road.

Good habits don’t take a day off. Neither does our safety culture. It’s easy to do things the right way when someone’s watching. The real test is what happens when it’s just you, the truck and the road ahead. That’s where good habits matter.

Over the last few years, we’ve worked hard to strengthen our safety protocols, training and practices with one goal in mind: helping our drivers do their jobs safely and helping everyone: our team members, their families and the families we share the road with, get home safely.

The extra walk-around. Not rushing the process. Staying alert when the route feels familiar. Speaking up when something doesn’t look right. Taking the time to do it right, every time.

Those choices may feel small in the moment, but together, they shape the safety-driven culture we continue building at SWTO. It's a constant reminder: the habits you repeat become the standard you set.
