📬 Thank You Note Lists & Auction Check Update 📬

The Chambers County Youth Project Show office has officially begun sending out exhibitor thank you note lists! 🎉

With more than 300 exhibitors this year, each list must be emailed individually, so we appreciate your patience as this process will take several days to complete.

Thank you note lists will be sent to the email address used during FairEntry registration. If you have not received your list by next week, please email us at [email protected] so we can confirm we have the correct email address on file.

We also want to remind everyone that exhibitor auction checks are NOT ready yet. At this time, we anticipate checks being available by mid-July.

Exhibitors are encouraged to go ahead and start working on thank you notes now so they are ready once checks are distributed. However, there is no need to rush to turn them in immediately — you are welcome to hold onto them until checks are ready for pickup.

As always, thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work through the post-show process. We are incredibly proud of our exhibitors and grateful for the continued support of our buyers, add-on donors, volunteers, and families who make the Chambers County Youth Project Show possible each year. 💙🌾

🌟 What’s Up at YPS? | Four Week Post-Show Update 🌟

We wanted to give everyone an update on where things stand following the 2026 Chambers County Youth Project Show!

At our last update, the Auditor’s Office had made it about HALFWAY through reviewing add-on donations. We appreciate everyone’s patience as they continue working through everything carefully and accurately. We currently anticipate this process taking approximately one more week to complete.

While that process is underway, we are continuing to prepare for issuing buyer invoices and exhibitor checks as soon as we receive final approval to move forward. This includes verifying exhibitor information and ensuring all records are complete and accurate.

🚨 IMPORTANT 🚨
If your child was a 2026 CCYPS exhibitor and you HAVE NOT been receiving emails from us regarding the 2026 show, that means we DO NOT have your correct email address on file.

📬 Current Timeline Estimates:
• Thank You Note Lists — Mid-June
• Exhibitor Checks Ready for Pickup — Mid-July

Once the audit is complete, each exhibitor will receive a Thank You Note List by email. This list will include the names and mailing addresses of all buyers and supporters who purchased and/or added on to your child’s project.

✉️ AFTER you receive your list:
1️⃣ Have your child write their thank you notes
2️⃣ Place each note in a stamped envelope
3️⃣ Address the envelope to the buyer/supporter and include a return address
4️⃣ Bring the completed thank you notes to the CCYPS Office

💵 Checks will ONLY be released after thank you notes are turned in.

🚫 PLEASE NOTE:
• We will notify exhibitors when checks are ready for pickup
• Please do not call or come by asking if checks are ready before that notification is sent
• Checks must be picked up in person
• WE WILL NOT MAIL CHECKS

CCYPS Youth Ambassador Program

The inaugural year of the Chambers County Youth Project Show Youth Ambassador Program exceeded every expectation, and we couldn’t be more proud of the incredible group of young leaders who helped launch it! 💙🌾

Over the past year, our Ambassadors challenged themselves, gained confidence, formed lasting friendships, and represented CCYPS in such a positive way throughout the community. Watching them grow into leaders and advocates for agriculture has been truly inspiring.

Now, we’re excited to begin the next chapter! 🎉
Applications are officially open for the 2027 CCYPS Ambassador Program — including returning opportunities as Senior Ambassadors for past participants ready to take on expanded leadership roles.

During the 2026 program, Ambassadors:

The CCYPS Youth Ambassador Program is designed to empower high school-aged exhibitors through hands-on leadership experiences focused on:
• Fair operations
• Event planning
• Public speaking
• Agricultural advocacy and literacy
• Community service and outreach
• Mentorship and representation

Ambassadors play an important role in helping educate the public about agriculture while developing the confidence, professionalism, and leadership skills that will serve them for years to come.

2026 CCYPS ‼️Update‼️

📣 What’s Up at YPS?
⏰ Three Week Post-Show Update

We wanted to give everyone an update on where things stand following the 2026 Chambers County Youth Project Show!

✅ All records from the Auction, Barn Sale, and Add-Ons have officially been entered and turned over to the Chambers County Auditor’s Office for review.

At our last update, the Auditor’s Office had completed review of the Auction and Barn Sale records and has now begun the very large task of reviewing Add-On donations.

💥 Y’all are GENEROUS!
There is currently over $500,000 in Add-Ons to review, so please be patient as they work through everything carefully and accurately. We anticipate this process taking approximately two more weeks.

While that process is underway, Robbie is working to make sure we have complete and accurate information for every exhibitor receiving a check, including:
✔️ Mailing Address
✔️ Email Address
✔️ Phone Number
✔️ Other Required Information
