PSA 📢⚠️

We recently responded to a report of a stolen Infiniti vehicle. Over the past week, one Infiniti vehicle was stolen, and two additional attempted thefts occurred.

Car thieves are using a device to gain entry into these vehicles and start them. We urge residents to take extra precautions, including:
Always locking your vehicle
Parking in a garage when possible
Using a steering wheel lock if you have one
If you do not currently have a steering wheel lock, free locks are available at either police department location:
2598 W. Main Street
300 E. Main Street
Please remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

From May 19 to June 1, our officers are out in force as part of the Click It or Ticket campaign, focusing on seat belt use and dangerous driving behavior. So far, we’ve logged nearly 64 hours on traffic enforcement, made 76 stops, issued 14 speeding citations, 6 seat belt violations, and arrested 4 impaired drivers. This isn’t about tickets, it’s about saving lives. Buckle up, slow down, and drive sober.
