Since Moon has been on a social media break, I’ve been trying to be more mindful of my own eyes behind the screen, so I apologize for the lack of posts this month!😩🫶🏽
We’ve been meeting lots of awesome section hikers, spending time with trail friends & now thru hikers are starting to come thru our neck of the woods!👣

We even learned a new term from one of our last groups going up to NY - SASHers - Slow Ass Section Hikers!🤣😍

Loving & enjoying (almost!) every moment of hiking season this year - minus all this rain - but I know the forest is grateful for it!🥰🌳🌲🌧️🌈✨

We had lots of great shuttles & hikers this past week, including our first Harper’s Ferry flip flopper, some repeat customers & a hiker Moon met back in ‘21 in GA on his 1st night at a shelter on his thruhike! Very cool!🥳🥰

Also, a big thank you to Ray who supported our art with scooping up an original Jeweled Moon watercolor AT inspired painting to take home & frame after his section hike!🤗♥️

Sometimes our shuttle rides put us in some pretty cool places on & around the AT. On Friday, we were on the road for almost 12 hours with multiple rides, but still managed to spend a few minutes exploring in New Jersey as we waited for our hiker to get to the pick up point. We could see rain storms out in the distance and got sprinkled on a little ourselves 😋🌦️✨

Can’t wait to see what other adventures, places & people we’ll see & meet as the season continues!🤗👣⛰️

It is safe to say, we are definitely in Hiker Season 2026!🤩🥳🥰🤗

We’ve met some amazing section hikers over the last few weeks, a couple even repeat customers from the last 2 years since we started shuttling full time on the AT!🥰

We love meeting all our hikers & forming new friendships, and getting to reunite with hikers we’ve helped in the past that come back to us to help continue their hiking goals & journeys! 🥹🥰

We had some great shuttles this week, including some sweet section hikers, lovely goddesses heading to the airport for a spiritual retreat in Egypt, AND we got to run into a hiker friend we met in Georgia 2 years ago as a Ridgerunner who is now working as a Park Ranger in our area!🤯🤗

Never know who you’re gonna see out there on the trail (or the local walking path!🤣)
