WCS Logistics General Manager & COO, Peter Yates, recently shared insights in an Open Forum article in The Wi******er Star regarding the proposed Cider Hill NDD rezoning. As he noted, the current proposal overlooks the impact on long-standing businesses in the area. Wi******er Cold Storage — along with other companies that have proudly operated in this part of the City for decades, and in our case, for over 100 years — has serious concerns about the implications of this designation.

Happy Fourth of July!

Among other things we are celebrating the tremendous progress on our new freezer and the erecting of the good ole American steel that started going up on Friday. The structural steel is from Kansas and the joist and girders are from Salem, VA!

Our 83,000 square foot freezer facility with 13,000 pallet positions will be available early 2025!
