Ok, unofficially closing registration for the October retreat in TWO weeks! It's crunch time as I prepare to welcome a great group of women. *I only bought enough supplies to make the exact right amount of welcome bags for my retreaters 😉 but I mean, if you're dying to go, lmk.

I'm am looking for a provider to come to a mini day retreat out in Wallis from 9am-12pm on Saturday, september 13th.

The non-profit I work for is hosting a volunteer appreciation event. We have a masseuse and nail tech coming to pamper the volunteers. But I'd like to have an activity for them to participate in. Maybe a workshop? Or breathing exercise? Open to suggestions if we can tie it to the theme!

The event theme is self care spa day.

We are are doing a farm tour on our retreat in October!!

The ranch owners are permaculture professionals and run their property in an eco friendly way. They try to keep it close to its natural state to protect it while inviting retreaters to come enjoy it.

🍅🐐🐔 They have a "forest garden", milk goats, and egg hens.

💆‍♀️🥾🧘‍♀️🌌They've also got tons of amenities focused on the land: a spa deck that overlooks the forest, hiking trails, meditation pond, fire pit under the stars, and labyrinth.

It's going to truly be a great way to connect with nature 😍

My favorite part of the day is right when the sun starts to rise. Everyone else is still asleep. I've got my slippers on and a hot coffee, splash of ½&½, between my hands. I curl up on the couch and zone out while I sip.

Making time for this ritual allows me to feel like I've had some "me" time. Which, as a mother to a kindergartener and 5 month old, is a precious commodity.

It's time for you to cultivate a silent, restful practice for yourself. No better place than on a restful retreat on a ranch in the central Texas country.
