PGV is hosting a Fly-in on 1 August.

You talked, we listened!

The ramp fee will be waived for all participating aircraft for the duration of the fly-in! Whether you are participating as a static display or flying in for the excitement.

The landing fee is waived for aircraft participating in the static display. All other aircraft are subject to the landing fee according to their maximum landing weight.

PGV is planning a community Fly-In on August 1st from 12-4!

1047 Airlines was in action this morning. We held a Young Eagles Rally for students from Southside Academy in Rocky Mount, and flew 37 Young Young Eagles. Thanks to our Young Eagles co-ordinator, Robert Schellenberg, for arranging an awesome morning for the children.

Staff from Southside Academy brought the children through, where, while waiting for their opportunity to fly, they learned about NASA and some of NASA's missions (including the A for Aeronautics - and the X-59 Quesst), made X-59 paper airplanes and got to take home a goody bag with some awesome NASA swag.

They patiently waited for their names to be called to experience the wonder of flight.

Nothing beats seeing the smiles on the faces of the children after they have flown - the ear to ear grins say it all.

Thanks to our amazing crew of pilots, registration and ground team for ensuring everyone had a fun, safe, wonderful experience. Thanks to the Rocky Mount - Wilson Airport authority for the use of the airport and to the CAP squadron for the use of their facility. And thanks Southside for choosing 1047. We hope you enjoyed your flight as much as we enjoyed flying you.
