It was great seeing this girl splash today. From the initial pre-purchase survey in Kiawah Island, SC to extensive engine repairs and full pod replacements up here in Wilmington, she is back in the water, running great and in the hands of a new owner. Proud of our PD team! 👏

We love to give back to our local community here in Wilmington, NC whether it is sponsoring fishing tournaments or helping the local youth sports teams or schools. This week we are helping to sponsor the teacher appreciation week at Eaton Elementary. The PTA alongside local businesses provide a snack cart for the teachers to pack a goodie bag for themselves to take back to their class each day. They more than deserve a treat! Thankful for our teachers who are building our next generation of adults one day at a time. 👏

Emergency call to Fernandina Beach for a local customer who needed a new transmission and actuator seals. He was hoping to put off the replacement until the end of the season after our concerns during his annual service two months ago, but the boat had other plans.

Also visible on the last picture is the electrolysis this boat is exposed to at her home dock. The yard just painted the props and lower units two months ago. 📋

Ending Marine Technician Appreciation week by re-introducing our technician Filson back to the team this season. Filson was with us learning the ropes for a few years before having to move. He’s back in town and back on the team! He enjoys fishing and being on the water when he isn’t working and has knowledge with Zeus pods after working for us previously. Welcome back Filson and thank you for your dedication.

Continuing with marine tech appreciation week, this guy plays a big role at PD! Tyler is our Parts Manager who assists in the field when needed and is always ready to learn. When customers call our office with parts needs, questions or repairs, he is your guy! Also a family man, he works hard to keep our operations running smoothly while playing the role of dad and husband. Thank you Tyler for your dedication to the team and industry!
