With the holidays upon us, Paratransit Supervisor Gary O'Donnell needs us more than ever! Gary suffered a serious medical condition over the weekend and is still in the hospital. Gary has been with Action for almost 15 years and is the backbone to our Paratransit operation as well as EMS.

We know we have had to do this more often, but, another Action Ambulance Team member needs our help.

Irma Mendez is a valuable member of Action Ambulance Paratransit Team, she will be going through a very difficult time with medical treatments for the next 6-7 weeks and has very little family support. Irma will not be able to work during this time, this will cause an additional hardship for Irma and her limited family. We want to show Irma she is not alone during this very difficult time, lets show Irma that her Action Ambulance Team walks with her.

Below is a link, called Meal Train, it allows for Meal drop off, gift cards of cash donation. any donation large or small will make this difficult treatment more manageable.

The Action community is deeply saddened to report that Paratransit Driver Maria Mendonca passed away suddenly on August 8th. Maria leaves a huge impact on our Paratransit team and will be missed greatly. Maria was always laughing, loved her job, and utilized her bilingual skills to engage with our Spanish students. ♥️ 🚌 Rest in Peace, Maria.
