🌴 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE BEACH.

You finally get to your resort, drop your bags in the room and head straight outside.

What does your PERFECT beach look like?

🏝️ A — Calm, crystal-clear turquoise water

🌊 B — Big waves and a dramatic coastline

🐚 C — Long white-sand beach made for walking

🌴 D — Secluded little cove with hardly anyone around

🍹 E — I really don’t care as long as there’s a beach bar nearby 😂

I’m definitely looking for beautiful water AND a good beach to walk.

But if somebody wants to bring me a frozen drink while I’m sitting there, I’m not going to complain. 😂

I feel like cruise people usually have a VERY strong preference about this one. 😂

⚓ TEAM PORT DAY

Get me off the ship! I want to explore somewhere new, take an excursion, eat the local food and see as much as possible.

OR...

🌊 TEAM SEA DAY

No alarm. No schedule. Coffee on the balcony, pool time, good food and absolutely nowhere I have to be.

Personally, I think the perfect cruise needs a little bit of BOTH.

I love exploring the ports, but there is something pretty great about waking up in the middle of the ocean with absolutely no plans. 😍

🌴 LET’S TALK ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORTS.
Not all all-inclusives are created equal.
Some are quiet, romantic and made for doing absolutely NOTHING except deciding what you want to drink next. 😂
Others have huge pools, activities all day, entertainment at night and enough restaurants that you could stay a week and never eat at the same place twice.
Some have incredible beaches.
Some have incredible pools…but the beach is just okay.
Some are perfect for honeymoons.
Some are perfect for families.
Some are perfect for a girls’ trip.
And some are perfect for the person who wants a swim-up room, a margarita and for nobody to speak to them until dinner. 😂
That’s why when someone asks me, “What’s the best all-inclusive?” my answer is usually…
It depends on YOU.

✈️ WINDOW OR AISLE?

I feel like this is one of those travel questions people have VERY strong opinions about. 😂

🪟 WINDOW — Give me the view, a wall to lean against, and please do not make me get up.

🚶‍♀️ AISLE — I need freedom. I need leg room. I need to know I can get up whenever I want without climbing over a stranger.

😬 MIDDLE — Nobody voluntarily chooses this. You were either assigned it or you love someone very much.

And then there are couples who book the window AND aisle hoping nobody takes the middle seat.

Risky little game you're playing there. 😂

So let's settle it:

WINDOW 🪟 or AISLE 🚶‍♀️?
