Customer put his boat in the water for the first time this season..After he started it at the ramp, he noticed a big oil...

Customer put his boat in the water for the first time this season..After he started it at the ramp, he noticed a big oil slick behind the engine, thankfully he caught it and shut it down before getting underway. He pretty much lost all of his crankcase oil. The culprit was this cracked raw water oil cooler that sits behind the oil filter. The motor is a 2007 Suzuki 140 four stroke, so to anyone out there who owns one or knows someone who does, keep an eye on this or just have it replaced as a preventative measure. If it cracks when your out in the middle of the bay your gonna have some big problems. This is a corrosion issue. Erics Boat Repair has it covered!
