Our service starts at $150 for an engine scan. For this price we travel to your location (within 40 miles of the 135 & Kellogg interchange in Wichita, KS, additional mileage past the 40 miles is $0.65 / mile). We then scan the engine, answer any questions you may have, and within 24 hours email a personalized report on the engine in the vessel.

This information is incredibly valuable if you're looking at buying a used boat giving you the confidence that the seller is not hiding any issues with the engine. Also if you're selling your boat, a recent report will add credibility and pay for itself many times over as many buyers will pay a premium for this information being provided at the time of sell.

We are currently offering scanning services on most Mercury Marine EFI engines and some of Volvo Penta, Crusader, Flagship Marine, Ilmor, Indmar, Kodiak, Malibu, Marine Power, Panther Airboats, Pleasurecraft, and Seven Marine engines at this time with plans to expand to Yamaha and Suzuki in the near future.

Mule’s Marine Service is a mobile marine engine scanning service that utilizes specialized computer software programs to link a pc to the vessels PCM (onboard computer) to retrieve vast amounts of data from the engine. We then use that data to create a fully personalized report on engine faults, rpm history, and other points of interest that is extremely valuable if selling or purchasing a boat. We also recommend utilizing this service on an annual basis to monitor the engine prior to each season. We operate with the utmost integrity and non-biased opinions. We will never erase faults or engine history. We will also never modify the report to make an engine seem worse or better than it is. We report the information straight off the PCM.
