I'm slowly losing respect for dock workers....generally speaking I rarely have a problem with them taking my bulkhead down to load/unload....they just never put it back up when done

If you looked at this picture and said..."hey, that looks like a bulkhead in the middle of that frozen load"....you'd be correct!

They loaded the 2nd half (two pick load, different docks) tight to the bulkhead at the end of the 1st pick!

The sad part came in when I had to explain the issue to TWO different people BEFORE the issue became apparent

But hey, they did load me early!!

lol

Just gotta shake your head sometimes....

Well, been watching mileage pretty hard the last few weeks...all figured by hand (miles • gallons added) and here's what I've come up with

All of this is with a ton of APU time, but is still about a full 2 MPG better than the hood...that's around $500/week less is rule moneys spent, or around $15,000 at the end of a year PER MPG!!

That said, I'm getting used to this stubby basturd....lol

One more load to go, then a load home for a few days....and I'm spending the weekend at the free bourbon & steak outfit this weekend!

Been a busy few months. Went home & got my wagon, truck stays around 7MPG, the cooker & APU have been lifesavers!

Also, got to do alittle spelunking today in the big truck....been well over a decade since I'd been in the caves! Still neat...lol

Well, the decision has been made, here's the new-to-me whip. With some good luck & consistent Frieght/revenue I should be able to rebuild back.

The last couple years have been rough when it comes to rates & revenue. I love my big Pete, Jolene, but I can't argue with the much improved mileage of this one...and the APU is nice!
