I still remember my first bravo impeller job. Boss wouldn’t give me any help and I had to come in on the weekend and finish it and the dang thing took 7 hours! Now we’ve got it down to 1 1/2 hours, and it’s still just as annoying lol! But, as always, we got our customer back on the water same day! This thing makes an F250 look tiny! Sea Ray 280 Fuel pump replacement. Dual engine so to get to the fuel pump we had to remove water drain bowl, tensioner pulley, power steering pump and bracket, remote gear oil reservoir, and remote oil filter, and a LOT of cooling hoses! Not to mention having to deal with Merc’s cool fuel system, it was not an easy job! But, we didn’t leave a drop of anything!

Reminder for all yall boat owners, change your fuel filters! It could save you thousands by saving your fuel pumps and injectors! We’ve had a few customers now spend too much money because of too much debris in their fuel system, preventative maintenance is just as important as regular maintenance!

We got almost the exact same job as our last video, but this time on a Volvo!
Fuel/water separator filter got old and send some nastiness through the system. Sadly these Volvo pumps aren’t rebuildable and very hard to find, but we finally got our hands on one and once we did, found out the nastiness broke our O2 sensor
Going to replace both, that should stop it from going into guardian mode and we’ll be good to go!

Had a real head scratcher this time!
Customer’s PCM was saying that it had low fuel pressure. Gas was old, and the filter got too old and sent nastiness through the system. Flushed all fuel from engine, cleaned FSM, and flushed fuel tank and we were doing better, but would still throw a code, just later
Took the O2 sensor off and was covered in soot. Bench tested bad, replaced that next and the computer was finally reading air/fuel mix where it wanted it! After a sea trial this guy was flying across the lake!

Rain or shine, we’ll get you going! This Volvo trim pump cover had pulled its own threads out due to the pressure that the system can build, and would lose all its fluid. After re-threading the near impossible to get to hole, we got it going again! Talk to us to get your boat going again!
