My most favorite upgrade so far - this camera! Made and powered by Google, the Nest camera is able to connect to a WiFi network or my phone’s hotspot - making it one of the top qualifiers in my book of being a travel camera for keeping an eye on the horses! The only thing I don’t like is connection issues on occasion, but other than that, it’s great! Such a relief for when the horses are in their stalls for a layover and I’m at a hotel down the street!

Now have exciting news! Well, especially for me - slowly making upgrades with equipment one step at a time! I now have 24/7 video surveillance during my hauls! Shoutout to Google Nest for providing their outdoor battery camera that works with Wi-Fi and my phone's personal hotspot! Beyond excited to test this out on my next trip!

If anybody is hauling a horse through North Dakota (along I90), I highly recommend getting in touch with Tower City Bed, Breakfast and Horse Hotel in Tower City, North Dakota. Their communication with me was wonderful - especially with how late it was when I got there after heavy traffic a state over!
