Because of severe over-tourism, local municipalities have banned wild camping near almost all roads, beaches, and villages in the south (especially around Flakstad and Moskenes). Look for the explicit “Camping Forbudt” signs. If you want to wild camp legally without a fine, you have to hike at least 30-45 minutes away from any established road or infrastructure.
🛒💰Buy Your Groceries in Svolvær: The further south you drive down the E10 archipelago, the smaller the grocery stores get, and the higher the prices climb. The tiny Matkroken in Reine has limited stock and tourist-inflated pricing.
