When Joe contacted us, he wasn't looking to plan an entire vacation.

Most of his trip was already booked.

He simply wanted to add two extra days in Rome.

Sounds easy enough. Right?

Except those two days needed to fit into everything else.

Flights.
Hotels.
Transfers.
Transportation.
A private guide.
And all the timing in between.

So that's what we did.

We coordinated the additional pieces and made sure they connected with the trip Joe had already booked.

We arranged their Rome experience, including a private guide and driver, while also coordinating the transportation and other logistics.

But there's another detail I really love about Joe's story.

He mentioned that they were older travelers and wanted to make sure the pace worked for them.

So the experience wasn't simply:
“Here's everything you can possibly see in Rome.”

It was designed around how they actually wanted to experience Rome.

After the trip, Joe wrote:
“They take care of you and all you have to do is enjoy your adventures of a lifetime.”

And that's the transformation we love.

Before:
“How are we going to make all of this work?”

After:
“We just enjoyed the experience.”

That's what customized travel planning is supposed to do.

Not give you more things to worry about.

Give you fewer.

Here's another travel opinion that surprises people.

Sometimes, the best day of your trip is the one where you don't have much planned at all.

No early alarms.

No rushing to catch transportation.

No checklist of attractions.

Just wandering.

Stopping when something catches your eye.

Finding a café that wasn't on your itinerary.

Watching life unfold around you.

Those unplanned moments often become the stories people tell when they return home.

That's one reason we rarely build itineraries where every hour is scheduled.

Travel should leave room for discovery.

After all, some of the best experiences can't be booked in advance.

So if you are thinking about Greece, Italy, or Turkey for 2027,
September and October are a great time to start the conversation.

People often ask us...

"What makes a trip truly memorable?"

Of course, beautiful places help.

So do wonderful hotels.

But more often than not, it's something much simpler.

It's how you felt while you were traveling.

Andy recently shared this after his family's trip through Europe:

"Dimitrios made our family's trip through Europe seamless from start to finish, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics."

I love that he didn't begin by talking about hotels.

Or tours.

Or restaurants.

He talked about peace of mind.

Knowing everything had been taken care of.

Being able to simply enjoy the journey.

That's something we work hard to create for every traveler.

Because vacations should feel like vacations.

Not another project to manage.

Want to travel with the same peace of mind Andy experienced?

Many people think our job ends once the itinerary is complete.

That's actually where another important part begins.

Behind every trip, there are dozens of conversations taking place.

Confirming hotels.

Double-checking transfers.

Coordinating local partners.

Monitoring schedules.

Making adjustments if something unexpected happens.

Most travelers never see that part.

And honestly, that's exactly how it should be.

Because if we have done our job well, your trip simply feels easy.

It's one of the reasons so many travelers tell us they felt supported from the day they booked until the day they returned home.

For more than 20 years, we've been helping travelers create customized journeys, and we have earned 400+ 5-star reviews from travelers who have trusted us with their trips.

Planning a trip isn't just about making reservations.

It's about having someone looking after all the details while you are busy enjoying the experience.

That's the part we love most.
P.S.: Planning a 2027 vacation? Now is the time to start.

September and October are often the perfect months to start planning a summer 2027 trip.

Here's why:

✦ Early booking rates and savings can become available.

✦ Airlines begin loading more of their 2027 schedules, giving you more options to plan around.

✦ You're still several months away from summer, giving us plenty of time to build the right itinerary without rushing.

✦ Hotels and local suppliers are already planning ahead for the next season, so securing the right services early can make a big difference.

And before you know it, summer will be less than a year away.

So if you are thinking about Greece, Italy, or Turkey for 2027, September and October are a great time to start the conversation.

Italy is one of those destinations where it's very tempting to try and see everything.

Rome.

Florence.

Venice.

Amalfi Coast.

Lake Como.

Cinque Terre.

The list never seems to end.

And before you know it, a relaxing vacation turns into checking train schedules every morning.

One thing we have learned after planning trips to Italy for many years is this:

The best Italy itineraries aren't the ones with the most destinations.

They are the ones with the best rhythm.

A few extra nights in Tuscany.

A slower morning in Florence.

An afternoon where nothing is planned except enjoying a meal in a piazza.

Those are usually the moments people remember the most.

Italy isn't meant to be rushed.

It's meant to be experienced.

If Italy is on your list, give yourself permission to slow down.

You will enjoy it far more because of it.

One of the biggest compliments we can receive isn't a review.

It's when someone comes back and travels with us again.

And again.

Recently, Dave shared something that made all of us smile.

This was his third trip with Asimina Tours.

This time, Greece and Italy.

Here's part of what he wrote after returning home:👇🏻

"From the time we left our house until we returned, Stella and the team had us covered. Multiple transfers, hotels, tours, limo services... everything was perfect. Not a worry in the world."

That phrase really stood out.

"Not a worry in the world."

Because when you're traveling overseas, there are so many moving parts.

Flights.
Transfers.
Hotels.
Tours.
Unexpected changes.

Our goal has always been simple:

Handle the details so you can focus on what really matters, making memories with the people you are traveling with.

That's why so many of our travelers come back years later.

Not because they are visiting the same destination.

But because they know what the experience will feel like.

If you are thinking about Greece, Italy or Turkey in 2026 or 2027, we'd love to help you experience that same peace of mind.

Some people love planning vacations.

- Researching hotels.

- Comparing ferry schedules.

- Reading hundreds of reviews.

And honestly, some people don't.

Recently one of our travelers shared something refreshingly honest.

"I am not a planner..."

She went on to explain how grateful she was that a friend recommended Asimina Tours for their family trip to Italy.

That made me think... Not everyone enjoys planning.

And that's perfectly okay.

Sometimes the best decision isn't spending weeks researching.

It's simply working with someone who already knows the destination.

So instead of worrying about details, you can focus on looking forward to the trip.

That's exactly why we are here.

So if you are ready to stop worrying about the planning and let us handle the details,

then DM us and let's start planning your customized Greece, Italy, or Turkey trip.

When most people plan Greece, they spend hours researching islands.

Santorini.

Mykonos.

Crete.

Naxos.

Paros.

But surprisingly, that's usually not the most important decision.

The biggest decision is actually...

How many islands should you visit?

Most travelers think:

"The more islands, the better."

In reality, adding just one extra island can sometimes mean:

Another ferry.

Another hotel.

Another packing day.

Another travel day.

Less time actually enjoying Greece.

Sometimes, seeing fewer places creates a much richer experience.

That's something we talk through with every client before we plan an itinerary.

Because our goal isn't to help you see the most.

It's to help you enjoy the most.

The best vacations feel surprisingly... boring.

That probably sounds like an odd thing for a travel advisor to say.

But hear me out.

The best vacations are often the ones where:

Nothing goes wrong.

No missed transfers.

No wondering where to go next.

No scrambling to find your hotel.

No worrying if your ferry will leave on time.

Everything simply works.

One of our longtime travelers recently wrote:

"This was our 3rd time using Asimina Tours... Stella and her team had us covered from the time we left our house until we returned. Everything was perfect... not a worry in the world."

That's exactly the experience we hope every traveler has.

Because when logistics disappear-

Memories take their place.

You notice the sunset.

The meal.

The conversation.

The little moments.

Instead of spending your vacation solving problems.

If that's the kind of trip you are looking for, we'd love to help.

Warmly,

Stella

One of my favorite parts of this business isn't actually planning the trip.

It's what happens after people arrive.

Recently, one of our travelers returned from Italy and left us this review:

"WOW! Panos did an amazing job planning the best Italian vacation ever! Every detail was exquisitely crafted and executed. We had multiple people back home asking for our travel consultant's information during our trip."

That last sentence made us smile.

Because that's usually a sign that someone isn't just enjoying a vacation.

They are having an experience that other people notice.

Friends begin asking,

"Who planned this?"

"How did you find these places?"

"Can I have your travel advisor's information?"

That's exactly what thoughtful planning can do.

Not because the itinerary is packed.

But because every detail feels intentional.

Every hotel.
Every transfer.
Every experience.

Our goal has never been to simply help you visit Italy.

Our goal is to help you experience it in a way you will remember long after you return home.

If Italy has been on your list, we would love to help you create that kind of experience too.
