The next all-years reunion in Heidelberg will be July 9-13, 2026.
Due to environmental concerns, there will not be a castle burning in July.
We are 14 months away and need to have a better idea regarding number of attendees. This is not a commitment, but please only tell us you are attending if you seriously plan to do so.
The official registration website should go live on/about Nov 1, 2025.
Because of venue capacities, there will be an overall limit of 300 people (the Neckar cruise is limited to 245 people).
We don't have pricing for all events yet, but the estimated cost for early registration (before 15 March 2026) is below. Prices do not include:
t-shirts
transportation to/from Heidelberg
local transportation (except for the bus to Waldschenke/Heiligenberg)
lodging
alcohol (except on the cruise)
meals not associated with an event
optional events
There are 3 pricing tiers available, each with a different cost:
All Events (Waldschenke, School, Neckar Cruise): $375/person
Partial Events (no Neckar Cruise): $250/person
School Only (intended for those who live in/near Heidelberg): $50
Here's the plan. Times for certain events might be adjusted slightly:
Wednesday, July, Time and cost TBD: Optional. Christian Praesent will lead a group to the city of Worms via train. 50-person limit.
Wednesday, July 8, 5-10pm: Pick up badges and t-shirts (if you ordered any) at the Heidelberg Hilton (used to be the Crowne Plaza).
Thursday, July 9, 2026: 9:30am - 2pm: Optional. World-famous Walking Tour of Heidelberg by Christian Praesent. Extra €15 that you pay directly to Christian. 50-person limit.
Thursday, July 9, 2026, 10am - 2pm: Badge and t-shirt pick-up continues.
Thursday, July 9, 2026, 4-7pm: Dinner & nonalcoholic drinks at Waldschenke (next to the amphitheater). Cash bar. Buses will leave from the Heidelberg Hilton at 3:30pm and return by 7:30pm or so. You can also drive (or walk) on your own.
Friday, July 10, 2026, 2:45 - 4:45: Optional. Visit the Mark Twain Center near the old Campbell Barracks. Transportation not provided. Free but limited to 120 people.
Friday, July 10, 2026, 5-10pm: Meet at the school for food & drink, as well as tours of the renovated building. If you visit the Mark Twain Center earlier, the school is just a short walk away. NOTE: Those living in or near Heidelberg can attend just this event if they want.
Saturday, July 11, 2026: 9:30am - 2pm: Optional. Repeat of the Heidelberg Walking Tour by Christian Praesent. Extra €15 that you pay directly to Christian. 50-person limit.
Saturday, July 11, 2026, 5-10pm: Neckar Cruise. Includes dinner and drinks. Transportation to embarkation point not included, but it's a 15-20 min walk from the Hilton (or you can take a bus). 245-person limit.
Sunday, July 12, Time & cost TBD: Optional. Christian Praesent will lead a group to Speyer via train. 50-person limit.
Sunday, July 12, 8am - 8pm: Optional. €35. Bus trip to Strasbourg, France. Buses will leave Strasbourg at 6pm. NOTE: This is not a guided tour. You will be on your own once in Strasbourg.
Monday, July 13, 9am - 12pm: Optional. Going away breakfast at the Hilton. Free for those staying at the Hilton.
