Celebrating an Incredible Career
Today, we celebrate an extraordinary milestone as we recognize Lyman Van Valkenburg on his retirement after more than 31 years of dedicated service with Customized Distribution Services, Inc.
Beginning his journey with CDS on March 20, 1995, and retiring on July 17, 2026, Lyman has been part of our story through decades of growth, change, and transformation. Over the years, he has witnessed new customers, new technologies, changing operations, and countless challenges—but through it all, his commitment to the job never wavered.
More than the years themselves, it is the impact of those years that makes this achievement so remarkable. Early mornings, long days, unexpected challenges, and the willingness to do whatever was needed became hallmarks of his career. Along the way, he shared his knowledge, trained and mentored new employees, and helped shape the success of those who worked beside him.
A career spanning more than three decades is built one day at a time through dedication, reliability, and pride in your work. That kind of commitment is increasingly rare, and we are grateful for the legacy Lyman leaves behind.
