Colorado gifted us a renewed vision of why we do love it here this weekend. We just have to go farther west. We’re burnt out on Breck, Frisco, Leadville and Glenwood. But Aspen, Basalt and Redstone made us fall in love again. Too bad a .9 acre in Aspen is 6.5 MILLION. Omg! Just barely out of reach. 😂

Transitioning out of the RV back to a house with kids has been harder than leaving a year ago by a landslide. So. Much. Stuff. And I don’t want any of it. Moving day gave us a big surprise when our storage area where we kept things flooded and had been wet for two+ months. That was fun but the damage could have been a lot worse, we were lucky. The kids are adjusting but we all keep mentioning the road again, but I’m sure it’s part of the transition back. The kids are really excited for school and friends. 💕

We stayed in Wisconsin with my cousin, Chad and his sweet family, for a week before the airshow. The cousins got to play nonstop and we got to have fun with Trevor, Jen and Paul and Dayna. We hiked, baked, golf carted, swam, drove vintage cars and so much more. Thankful we had time to relax and we weren’t rushed.

My first time at EAA AirVenture in Wisconsin was pretty cool. The sheer size of the grounds and the amount of airplanes all gathered in one spot was more than I anticipated. The girls loved it and of course Ryan did (he’s the one insisting we must all go!).

We camped with my cousin and so that added a fun element.

After a week at Bob and Nena’s we were able to stay at my best friend’s house while they were on vacation. Her 4 kids even had a sleepover one night which was fun. Not pictured was all the beverages I had while watching 7 alone that night. 😂

I haven’t posted much lately because we’ve been couch surfing to the max for two months and I’m exhausted! However, the Green’s have left the east coast hotel mooching and have flown west.

If you would have told me we’d be on New Jersey beaches in October then again in June I wouldn’t have believed you.

But we are and it’s been a fun beach day. Minimal sunburns and lots of sand.

Oh and the boardwalk and neighborhood of Asbury Beach are amazing!

We found our way back to NYC! Well, Jersey City anyhow. Liberty Science museum was AWESOME and we need a whole nether day there! Thank goodness for this ASTC pass!

*Lots are wondering ‘Where are they!?’ We sold the rig, so don’t have a place to stay besides with bumming beds off friends and relatives. So we decided to follow dad to his 4 week training and crash in his free hotel room for two of the weeks! Why not? We officially are back in Colorado and our sticks’n’bricks home on August 1st. Fun fact- that’s the same day as my first day back to work. 👎
