Congratulations to Aviation Maintenance Technology's Lead Teacher Galen Wilson for receiving the Federal Aviation Administration's Northeast Instructor of the Year Award on Thursday, March 5. Chief Wilson is also 1 of 8 nominated for the National FAA Instructor of the Year Award.

Congratulations to Dan Shearer on his selection to Airport Manager at BAF! Dan will be coming to us from Pittsfield Airport and brings with him experience running an airport, as well as navigating Massachusetts politics and policies. The staff at BAF are excited to have Dan as an addition to our team!

Last week the Westfield Airport Commission appointed Dan Shearer, the current manager of the Pittsfield Municipal Airport, as the new manager of the Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport.
