Ohio Association for Pupil Transportation The Ohio Association for Pupil Transportation is the professional organization for pupil transportation professionals in Ohio.

Active Membership is open to persons who are actively employed as an Ohio Pupil Transportation Administrator for Educational programs approved by the Ohio Department of Education, a Board of Developmental Disabilities, a Head Start, or for a Contractor providing pupil transportation services.

As we begin welcoming students and staff back for the 2026-2027 school year, OAPT wants to wish every transportation professional across Ohio a safe, successful, and rewarding year ahead!

The first few weeks can be challenging, so remember that you are never alone. Your OAPT Board, fellow members, and transportation colleagues across the state are always here to support you, share ideas, and help however we can.

Thank you for the long hours, early mornings, patience, dedication, and heart you bring to this work every single day. Without pupil transportation professionals, there is no school.

Here’s to a great year ahead-we’ve got this!! 🚌💛

After our monthly OAPT Board meeting and conference debrief, most of the board traded the meeting room for the Game Show Battle Rooms!
It was a great way to wrap up a productive day with teamwork, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. 💛

As an organization, we are always looking for new and exciting ideas, activities, and experiences that we may be able to bring to future OAPT conferences…and sometimes the best research involves a little fun!🚍💛

Strong organizations are built through the work we accomplish together and the relationships we build along the way. 🏆

Day 3 of conference was amazing!

We had another full day of great sessions, meaningful conversations, learning, laughter, and connecting with people who truly care about pupil transportation.

Our trade show was also incredible. We are so thankful for our vendors who showed up, shared their products and services, answered questions, and continue to support the work we do every day. Conferences like this would not be the same without them.

Today we wrap up our final day here at conference, and we are so grateful for everyone who has been part of it. Let’s finish strong!

Day 2 came in hot and did not disappoint.

The summits were packed with great conversations, the sessions brought real learning, the awards reminded us exactly why this work matters, and everywhere you looked, people were connecting, laughing, sharing ideas, and pouring back into this profession.

This is what conference is supposed to feel like.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success. OAPT showed up today, and it was a pretty incredible thing to be part of.
