So a friend just bought this cabin in the Smokey Mountains and they are putting it up for rent by the night or the week. I am impressed at how nice it is, and how reasonable the prices are, especially when you consider it sleeps up to 10!! Having been to this area of Georgia, and touring it is a great place to go for a fly out or with the family. Wine tours, water sports, or just hanging in the cabin with the hot tub looking at the mountains. When we went, we flew into Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville GA ( KGVL ) and rented a car and drove up. There may be closer and/or private airports if you don't need to rent a car. Check it out if looking for a summer getaway from the FL heat !!

A second chance, a local animal rescue that we have worked with in the past, is looking for an emergency transport for a cat that was hit by a car in Taladaga AL. ASC can get to any airport in a 3 hours drive of West Palm to pick up, if you can get cat to FL from AL. How about starting out your 2018 with your first 501c3 charity flight!
