Hiii👋🏽 I’m Jess, the creative mind behind Upcycled Enchantments. Life has been crazy, hectic, challenging, beautiful and ever changing —all at the same time. So you may have noticed that I’m not posting as much. Hey I’m only human, but here’s a long story short as to why.
Business has slowed down tremendously (I know other small shops are going through it too, sending you my love🫶🏽). It could be the fact that the cost of living has increased, the multiple times I’ve had account problems, the ever changing algorithm.. honestly it’s probably a little bit of everything. Posting became daunting, discouraging & caused a lot of anxiety if content didn’t perform well. And when a shop drop flopped, I would cry & think “What’s wrong with me? Is it my product? Am I no longer good enough?”
Because of all that I’m a two job girl again, trying to adjust to my new normal. Working one job from 6A-3P and Upcycled during my free time. But I also need time to myself for other life things🫶🏽 isn’t over, just going through some changes. I’ll post when I have time but some tips I can give is to 1️⃣read everything & 2️⃣interact with my content. This is the only way you’ll see what I post, no interaction = no visibility = missing out on shop updates. Unfortunately that’s just the way social media works, trust me, I hate it too!
I have lots of fun collections and pop-ups planned for the rest of the year (please see my stories & highlights). And with the new life adjustment this just means the creations I work on are things I’m REALLLLLY passionate about. I appreciate you, your patience & for sticking around to support my small handmade business.
