Fenitrothion-O-analog - Fenitrothion is an insecticide used control chewing, sucking and boring pests on a range of crops.

Fenitrothion has a low aqueous solubility, is highly soluble in many organic solvents & is volatile. It has a low potential for leaching to groundwater & isn't expected to be persistent in soil/water systems. It is moderately toxic to mammals, considered to be an endocrine disruptor and a cholinesterase inhibitor. It is highly toxic to birds, aquatic invertebrates & honeybees, and moderately toxic to fish, algae & earthworms.

Trinexapac has applications as a marine xenobiotic metabolite, an agrochemical, plant growth regulator & inhibitor of gibberellin biosynthesis.

Trinexapac is a monocarboxylic acid that is 3,5-dioxocyclohexanecarboxylic acid substituted by a cyclopropyl(hydroxy)methylidene group at position 4. It is a metabolite of the plant growth regulator trinexapac-ethyl. It is a member of cyclohexanones, a monocarboxylic acid, a beta-hydroxy ketone, an enol and a member of cyclopropanes.

Chlorpyrifos is a synthetic organophosphate acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, reproductive toxicant, and neurotoxicant. It is characterized as a highly toxic. Exposure occurs by inhalation, ingestion, or contact. Typically, a white crystal-like solid with a strong (rotten eggs) odor. It does not mix well with water, so it is usually mixed with oily liquids before it is applied to crops or animals. It may also be applied to crops in a capsule form.
